The Vedas contain all matters that are necessary for the well-being of the entire humanity and it is therefore necessary for us to see that this treasure, handed over to us by our ancestors, is preserved in its pristine purity, and passed on to posterity. The Vedas contain mantras which, when chanted with proper swara, are so potent as to bring in immense prosperity, not only to the one chanting, but also to the entire surroundings.

Vedas stand evidence as prime roots of Universal Welfare. Our sacred books on Hindu Dharma Sastra, Itihasas, Puranas, Divyaprabandam etc., celebrate the Vedas. The Vedas beautifully teach us, thee way of living on this earth – “SATHYAM VADHA – speak only the truth”; “DHARMAM CHARA – be righteous”. This is what our Hindu Dharma preach us.

There is no greater responsibility for us than that of keeping the Vedas alive and resonating around us in a vibrant tradition. The sound of the Vedas must pervade everywhere and must fill all space. The Truths enshrined in them must be spread far and wide and the rituals enjoined on us, by them must be made to flourish, thus maintain alive with sincere Devotion, the Vedic Dharma, which truly enlivens and enlightens all of the living species.

As a part of their Noble Mission in propagating and living up to the High Traditions as propounded by the Vedas, ‘Veda Samithi’, have been instrumental ensuring the Vedic Chanting daily in more than five temples since 2002. They also convene and conduct Vedic Chanting by Renowned Vedic Scholars for the benefit of the entire humanity every year. This year also Samithi has proposed conduct of “SRI KRISHNA YAJURVEDA GANA PARAYANAM”, “KAMYARTHA HOMAM” & “UPANYASAM” as per the programme details enclosed.

All the devotees of the Vedic tradition, Philanthropists and Humanitarians are humbly requested to partake in this Noble Mission for a worldly cause and donate their mite liberally and receive the Paripurna Anugraha and Blessings of “Our Veda Maathaa”.
